Tail remodeling

I made this tail a couple of years ago, but could only choose from black or white acrylic fur, meaning I had to colour it myself... It didn't really turn out a success, and in time it got more and more worn out... Looks crappy, if you ask me.

So I decided to remodel it. I had this hybrid halfsuit in mind for quite some time now, that I wanted to make, and the tail goes nicely with it though it have to look more natural. And for that, I needed real fox fur.

Now, before you yell at me for using real fur, please read:
I would have used pelts from roadkills only if it were up to me, but frankly that just wasn't possible, because I don't come across that many roadkills anymore.
Second best was this, a wild shot fox, although I don't support hunting. But I figured it was a lot better (and cheaper) than a pelt from a farm fox.
This was from an wild adult fox, so it had a fairly good and long life, and it lived as it should - in the wild.
The fox was NOT killed in order to make this tail! It had been dead for years before I even got the idea. The making of the tail had done no difference for its tragic destiny.

The costume however is not that ordinary. I don't need any more pelts, only a couple of antlers and a lot of feathers. Feathers, that I have collected from the ground.
